Know what to reorder, how many, and by when

Fluvi forecasts demand for every ASIN, projects the day each one runs out, and works the reorder quantity back from your supplier's lead time.

The reorder point

A stockout date is a decision, not a statistic

Days of cover tells you how long stock lasts. It does not tell you when to place an order, because that depends on how long your supplier takes. Fluvi works backwards from the projected stockout date and the lead time to give you an order-by date, and a quantity that covers demand from the moment the shipment lands.

Lead times and case packs

Per-product values, not one number for the whole report

Suppliers do not share a lead time and cartons do not share a size, so a single figure applied across a report produces quantities nobody can actually order. Fluvi uses each product's own lead time and case pack, rounding up to whole cases.

Forecasting

Seasonality, or a weighted average — your call

Demand can be projected from the same period last year, adjusted by a year-on-year trend modifier, or from a weighted moving average of recent sales. Both feed the same reorder recommendation, so you can see how the plan changes with the assumption.
